Please can we NOT focus on Jimin’s past eating habits?! Singling him out gives the wrong impression that he had a severe eating disorder- which he didn’t. He was extremely muscular yet labelled as fat and he was always chosen as the least attractive in the group. Anyone would want to start dieting under those circumstances. The other members also had unhealthy eating habits off and on; they just weren’t vocal about it; the signs were there though. *It’s also been pointed out that the translation that he “ate only once in 10 days” is a mistranslation and that he said he ate once a DAY for 10 days. Unhealthy dieting is a systemic issue in ALL of KPop. I find it upsetting that some of his darkest days are the ones people want to keep dredging up on socmed when it’s so far behind him. I blame the fans and the way he was made fun of in the group in those early days - and likely pressure from the label - that sent him on that downward spiral. I just thank God he was strong enough to put that behind him; I don’t think many other Kpop idols would have been able to.
